Some fun with sepia

Posted by Crystal

I've always wanted to recreate our wedding album in a scrapbook format. I even tried when I was just beginning scrapping and truthfully, you can tell I was just beginning. Ok, it's down right awful. Well someone gave me this vintage style scrapbook kit as a gift a few years back and I'm finally getting around to selecting pictures for it. I thought black and white or sepia tone would look nice. The pictures arrived today from Costco so hopefully it won't take another few years to get them scrapped!
Here's some of our wedding ones. I have my favorite baby/kid pictures I did in this tone as well. I'll probably post those soon! This is the "castle church" as I always called it growing up. It sits right on a beautiful lake in the center of my hometown. Could I get married anywhere else?
No, cause that train wouldn't fit anywhere else!I'm loving the fuzzy focus effect lately!
Some day poofy shoulders and lots of beadwork may come back in style! You think? What a looker!
I realized we have way too many pictures of us kissing or almost kissing. Here's where it all started, Shannon.

I can't help but smile and feel even more in love with this man now than on our wedding day. It hasn't all been roses for us but we're getting through this life together and that's what matters.

Will post more soon...

I have been working with all my grandchildren's photo albums and also the great grandsons. I have stopped to take a longer look at these sweet faces from birth to now. They are so precious. I love the sepia ones of the girls. I had them out this week admiring them. They looked like "old western do" with the outfits they had on. D. J. looked like a happy little boy doing the 50m dash. I love your wedding pictures also in the sepia. I must say that I am a proud Mom and Granny too. Love to the family. Mom
